Data collection and analysis is absolutely vital to every important decision that Goodwills need to make. This process is particularly urgent in a world where minimum wage is rising and unemployment is at an all-time low. Without complete information of sales and employee efficiency, these critical decisions are much more difficult to make. Through Solutions DGR's integration with Tableau, data collection and analysis is a much simpler process for Goodwill.

You may have noticed a slight shift in the name of our flagship software. Known formerly as Solutions Point of Sale (POS), we decided after much thought that our product would be described more accurately as Solutions Donated Goods Retail (DGR). This change not only better describes what our product is, but it also describes what it is for, and better resonates with the Goodwills that need it.

When Michelle, Senior Director of Retail for Goodwill Industries Central Florida, began searching for a new POS system, she wanted two things: faster checkout and better tracking/reporting. Their old system required manual entry for every item at checkout. The lack of tracking ability led to reports that were often 20-25% off.
After several months of researching new systems and interviewing vendors, Michelle chose Solutions ITW’s donated goods management system. With POS, Production, Inventory Management, and Dashboard implemented, GWCFL saw immediate changes.
